Disney has announced that the Test Track attraction at EPCOT will reopen on July 22, 2025.
Test Track closed in June 2024 for a reimagining that draws inspiration from the classic World of Motion attraction. This new iteration will be the third version of the ride.
When the reimagined experience opens, it will feature an all-new musical score and will introduce new scenes that focus on advanced technology, illustrating how cars are becoming smarter and enhancing everyday life.
Among the notable scenes is one that demonstrates how vehicles can utilize advanced cameras and sensors to “see” the world they drive through. Walt Disney Imagineers have represented this technology using over 29,000 points of light.
The Disney Parks Blog indicated that more information will be shared in the weeks ahead regarding special preview opportunities for cast members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents, and Club 33 Members, allowing them to experience the ride before it officially reopens.
