The Walt Disney World Monorail System is not a theme park attraction, but a complimentary transportation service that connects select areas across the resort. Monorail stations at the theme parks are located outside the park entrances, so park admission is not required to board. However, stations are accessed from resort hotels, where parking typically requires a valid hotel stay, dining reservation, or other qualifying purpose, or paid parking areas.
The system operates three lines. The Magic Kingdom express line runs directly between the Transportation and Ticket Center (the park’s parking area) and Magic Kingdom. The resort loop makes stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The EPCOT line provides service between the Transportation and Ticket Center and EPCOT.
