An approaching hurricane or tropical storm can result in the closure of Walt Disney World’s parks and Disney Springs. On-site hotels will remain open to guests already staying at a hotel to provide shelter. According to Walt Disney World’s hurricane policy, in the event that a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area or your place of residence, within seven days of your scheduled arrival date, you can contact Walt Disney World to reschedule or cancel a vacation package, hotel room accommodation, or park tickets booked directly with Walt Disney World without any fees imposed. For any bookings or purchases made through a third-party supplier, including travel agents, you must contact that supplier, not Walt Disney World.
