Walt Disney World has revealed new details about its annual Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, set to begin on August 9.

New Costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will be dressed in new neon spiderweb attire, offering a fresh welcome to guests attending the event.

More Villains Sightings

The 2024 edition of the Halloween party will feature an increased presence of villains throughout Magic Kingdom. From the onset of the event, guests will encounter a variety of Disney’s most iconic antagonists.

New DescenDANCE Party

A new addition to the event’s lineup is the DescenDANCE Party, inspired by the Disney Original Movie Descendants: The Rise of Red, which is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on July 12. This rave will be held at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.

Bruno from Encanto

For the first time during this event, attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the clairvoyant character from Disney’s Encanto alongside Mirabel at their Casita located in Fairytale Garden.

Earlier Start Time for Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

Additionally, there is a scheduling change to note: Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will now commence at an earlier time. This adjustment aims to accommodate families with younger children, ensuring that more guests can enjoy the parade before bedtime.

Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party will take place on the following dates in 2024:

  • August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
  • September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
  • October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

Guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can buy tickets for the event starting on May 8. All other guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets beginning May 15.
