Walt Disney Imagineering has shared a first look at the newly designed ride vehicles for Test Track. The updated vehicles signify a change from the previous models, showcasing a much darker color and minimalist design.
The new ride vehicles boast several updates, including new seats, updated paint, full-vehicle wraps, and redesigned interior graphics. The overhaul aligns with the attraction’s refreshed theme of exploring the advancements in mobility and automotive research and development. Walt Disney Imagineering stated that the redesigned vehicles are intended to blend in with the ride’s new environments, leaning more into a research and development prototype to fit with Test Track’s refreshed theme.
On the reimagined Test Track, guests will embark on an adventure that navigates through various scenes that highlight the latest onboard technology, customization, and personalization features. These scenes will showcase the technological advancements that have transformed everyday life and the connections they establish between individuals and transportation.

The revamped Test Track is set to return to EPCOT in late summer 2025.
