Taylor Swift announced a brand-new original song tied to Disney and Pixar’s new Toy Story 5.

The singer-songwriter revealed that her next track, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” will arrive on streaming platforms on June 5, 2026, ahead of its inclusion on the official Toy Story 5 soundtrack on June 19.

The announcement followed a wave of clues over the weekend, including billboards in major cities, such as Los Angeles and New York, featuring the shared “TS” initials and 13 clouds, a nod to Taylor Swift’s well-known association with the number 13.

Swift confirmed the news on Instagram on Monday following a countdown event that led to the announcement.

The new track was written and produced by Swift alongside Jack Antonoff. The song draws inspiration from Jessie’s ongoing journey in Toy Story 5, connecting back to the character’s emotional arc that began in Toy Story 2. The song also signals a return to Swift’s country influences.

Pre-sales for three exclusive CD editions began today through her website, each featuring the film version of the single along with special acoustic and piano interpretations.

Meanwhile, Toy Story 5 itself is preparing to send Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang into a very different kind of adventure. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the story introduces a new challenge centered around modern technology, a smart tablet character named Lilypad voiced by Greta Lee.
