Next year, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will join Universal Orlando to become the resort’s fifth on-site hotel. As of yesterday, the hotel is on sale and will be ready to welcome guests on July 14th, 2016. Last year, Universal Orlando and Loews Hotels announced the hotel along with its Caribbean theme. The hotel is currently under construction adjacent to Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and Loews Royal Pacific Resort.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will feature a 16,000 square foot swimming pool with a water slide and a nearby fire pit. The pool will be 4,000 square feet larger than the Hard Rock Hotel’s, making it the largest swimming pool on property.

The hotel will have over 1,000 guest rooms and 83 family suites when completed. Each room will offer free WiFi, a flat screen TV, and according to Universal Orlando magnificent poolside and waterfall views.

Based on the model, the bathroom will be divided into two sections. One section will contain a sink and the other section will contain a toilet and shower with amenities for the handicap. The shower will not use a shower curtain but rather a sliding clear door. To divide the two bathroom sections, Universal Orlando decided to use a sliding door rather than an ordinary door.

The hotel will offer on-site dining locations and lounges with options inspired by Caribbean cuisine. Strong Water Tavern will be a lounge that serves lunch and dinner and daily rum tastings (must be of legal age). Drhum Club Kantine is another dining location, which will be located nearby the pool. There, you can purchase Caribbean-infused drinks. Another dining location is Amatista Cookhouse and according to the rendering, it appears that the restaurant will offer a waterfall view. Amatista Cookhouse will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will have an open exhibition kitchen so that you may enjoy watching the chefs prepare your meal.
