Walt Disney World is adding new holiday music to its attraction lineup this year, bringing festive soundtracks to three rides across EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and Alien Swirling Saucers will each feature seasonal songs, including “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Silver Bells,” and “Deck the Halls,” along with other holiday favorites.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Gets a Holiday Remix
Guests visiting EPCOT this holiday season will have a new way to save the galaxy when Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind introduces a special holiday playlist from November 25 through January 6, 2027.
The attraction’s seasonal lineup will feature three songs:
- “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” by Andy Williams
- “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” by Trans-Siberian Orchestra
- “Christmas Wrapping” by The Waitresses
The holiday tracks will be shuffled, just as the attraction’s regular soundtrack is now, so guests won’t know which song they’ll hear until the ride begins.
The holiday version of Cosmic Rewind arrives just two days before the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays begins on November 27. Disney is also expanding the attraction’s seasonal music lineup compared with its previous holiday offering.
The Muppets Bring Their Own Holiday Chaos to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will receive its own limited-time holiday makeover beginning November 4.
The seasonal version of the attraction will run through January 6, 2027, and add holiday music and new touches to the recently opened Muppets-themed coaster.
The festival atmosphere begins in the courtyard, where seasonal music sets the mood before guests enter G-Force Records. Inside, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips are getting ready for their holiday performance, while Scooter and the penguin audio engineers scramble to help the band make it to the show. Guests will then board their stretched limo and race across town.
Disney has announced three of the fourt songs for the holiday soundtrack:
- “Holiday Road” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
- “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Jennifer Hudson
- “Silver Bells” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Cyndi Lauper
As with the attraction’s regular soundtrack, guests will receive a randomized musical selection during their ride.
Alien Swirling Saucers Gets a Festive New Playlist
Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land will receive its holiday music overlay beginning November 4. The seasonal soundtrack will be part of the attraction’s new Lilypad’s Jams experience, featuring Lilypad from Toy Story 5 as the DJ behind the music. For the holiday season, she’ll add festive songs to the attraction’s lineup.
The attraction’s holiday playlist will run through January 6 and feature four festive tracks:
- “Toyland”
- “Deck the Halls”
- “Swirling, Swirling, Saucers”
- “Joy to the Swirl”
