Blumhouse’s horror sequel Black Phone 2 is headed to streaming. The film will arrive on Peacock on January 16, 2026, following its theatrical run late last year.
The sequel to the 2021 movie premiered in theaters on October 17, 2025, and continues the story of Finn, now 17, as he navigates his life after surviving his captivity from The Grabber. At the same time, his younger sister, Gwen, begins receiving unsettling calls in her dreams from the black phone, along with disturbing visions of three boys being stalked at a winter camp called Alpine Lake.
Scott Derrickson returned to direct the sequel, reuniting the original cast in their lead roles. Mason Thames reprises his role as Finney “Finn,” with Madeleine McGraw back as Gwen. Ethan Hawke also returns as The Grabber.
Black Phone 2 earned $132.2 million globally at the box office. That total includes $77.3 million domestically and $54.8 million from international markets.
