Legend has it that eerie incidents have occurred in the mine after gold was discovered in the 1850s. Trains would accelerate and travel down the track on their own, and there’s no explanation as to how. You’re aboard one of these trains, and you’re about to discover what it has in store for you.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is not an intense roller coaster, but it definitely packs a punch. The themed environment, which Disney is known for excelling at, further enhances the ride. You can’t leave Magic Kingdom without visiting this attraction.
