New Studio Tour Features

Honoring its historical legacy, the beloved Glamor Trams are set to return, complete with their signature red and white stripes. These trams have been instrumental in offering movie enthusiasts a special look behind the scenes of an operational studio lot. Guests will enjoy the experience of disembarking the tram and setting foot onto a real movie set, where they will find an original, fully renovated 1964 Glamor Tram on display. Guests will also have the chance to capture their memories with additional photo ops of King Kong and the theme park’s original hanging Jaws shark. Further developments to the Studio Tour include a reimagined Earthquake attraction, which will utilize contemporary technology and aesthetics to create a more immersive and visually stunning experience. Additionally, guests can enjoy the temporary return of the 1976 Runaway Train and encounter a Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus rex.

In what’s set to be a historic first, Universal Studios Hollywood will unveil an original replica of the legendary Hollywood Sign. This large-scale reproduction will be prominently positioned along the studio backlot, adjacent to the tram step-off moment, enhancing the already iconic backdrop and providing ample photo opportunities for visitors.
