What happens in the event of an earthquake?

As you may already know, unlike many other natural disasters, which can typically be scientifically predicted, there is currently no way to reliably predict when an earthquake will happen, its strength, or its duration. Because of this, Universal Studios Hollywood cannot close prior to an earthquake strike. Should an earthquake occur, attractions may close for the safety of guests and to perform inspections after the fact. Additionally, if needed, the Universal Studios Hollywood park and other destinations may close for an extended period after an earthquake strikes to conduct more thorough inspections.
