Then step into your race vehicle and battle Team Bowser alongside Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach on iconic Mario Kart courses. Throughout the race, collect coins and throw shells to win the Golden Cup.
Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge is based on the Mario Kart video games, as the name suggests. On the ride, you race through various courses throwing shells against iconic characters featured in the games, making it a cool and familiar experience. It's worth noting that despite this being a racing attraction, the ride vehicles move rather slowly. This does not in any way make the ride less exciting, however, as it is still a fun dark ride that brilliantly blends the use of augmented reality, projection mapping, screen projection, and physical sets to immerse you into the action.
Universal Express is a paid service that serves as Universal Studios Hollywood's express line system. With it, you can benefit from shorter wait times for participating rides and prime viewing spots at select shows. You can also bypass attractions utilizing a Virtual Line.
