This summer, Universal Orlando is unveiling a variety of new additions across CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida, and Islands of Adventure. Highlights include new merchandise celebrating upcoming films and anniversaries, a new sweets store, new food items, and more. Additionally, this photo report covers other updates around Universal Orlando.

The Universal Orlando sign is still missing from the parking tollbooth located off Hollywood Way. We’re not sure when it was removed, but it previously featured an outdated logo. It’s unclear whether the new logo will be installed in its place or if the booth will remain as it is.

Universal CityWalk

Next, we’ll head to Universal CityWalk to explore the current happenings.

There’s new merchandise for the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth film, in theaters July 2, in the Universal Studios Store at Universal CityWalk.

Here’s a closer look at the design on the Sherpa throw. It’s 50 in x 60 in and is made of 100% polyester. It costs $40.

The Jurassic World Rebirth wingback t-shirt showcases a T. Rex design positioned at the top right of the front, along with the movie’s logo and emblem displayed on the back. This t-shirt is priced at $80.

This waist bag features the logo and emblem for Jurassic World Rebirth and is available for $30.

The Jurassic World display features an additional side showcasing even more merchandise.

This mug has the full film logo on one side and a stylized emblem on the opposite side. It can be purchased for $25.

The Aquilops t-shirt was $25.

The store also offers a youth hoodie priced at $45, although it does not explicitly reference the name of the new film.

We’re stepping outside the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk, where a sign is promoting the “Love is Universal” celebration at the Red Coconut Club. This event runs throughout June, with Thursday hours from 6 PM to midnight, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 PM to 1 AM. The celebration features exclusive drinks, a DJ, and live entertainment.

In front of the Hard Rock Cafe, a new ramp has been installed.

It’s located roughly halfway between Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida.

The ramp is constructed from wood, with PVC pipes used as the handrails. Based on the materials used, we’re assuming this is a temporary installation.

Following the official opening of Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, the digital sign at the Epic Universe Preview Center now displays that the park is open. The preview center remains open, showcasing a model of the park, various merchandise, and more. Typically, preview centers close their doors once the theme park opens, but it’s unclear whether the Epic Universe Preview Center will close soon. If it does, the future plans for the space are still unknown.
