What happens in the event of a hurricane?

An approaching hurricane or tropical storm can result in the closure of Universal Orlando's parks and CityWalk. On-site hotels will remain open to guests already staying at a hotel to provide shelter. According to Universal Orlando’s hurricane policy, in the event that a hurricane or tropical storm warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center or if a state of emergency is declared for the Orlando area or in your place of residence, within seven days of your scheduled arrival date, you can contact Universal Orlando to reschedule or cancel a vacation package, hotel room accommodation, or park tickets booked directly with Universal Orlando without any fees imposed.
