An approaching hurricane or tropical storm can result in the closure of Universal Orlando’s parks and CityWalk. On-site hotels will remain open to guests already staying at the hotel to provide shelter. According to Universal Orlando’s hurricane policy, in the event of a hurricane or tropical storm warning issued by the National Hurricane Center or if a state of emergency is declared for the Orlando area or in your place of residence, within seven days of arrival, you can contact Universal Orlando to reschedule or cancel a vacation package, hotel room accommodation, or park tickets booked directly with Universal Orlando without any fees imposed. For any bookings or purchases made through a third-party supplier, including travel agents, you must contact that supplier, not Universal Orlando. Click/tap here for full details.
